In the UK the biggest challenge is to find a 50m pool.

We are lucky enough to have a 50M pool. The hardest thing to do is come up with appropriate intervals early in the season.

i guess the turns from the shorter pools give us a brief time to rest, and when we swim the long course, especially if you're used to short course pools, your body's kind of expecting the wall to come at half the pool length or less.

I guess the only way to deal with it is to keep swimming it, first a 50, then a 100, then 150?

I found the best way to get comfortable switching SC to LC, is to start right away counting strokes. That way, I always know exactly where I am in the pool. No feeling of going on and on and on - where is the end?
