My coach told me when I used to stop to write my sets/times, it was a cop-out. He said there was time AFTER the practice for this.

This swimmer was not only writing the times / sets, but he was doing so within the rest between the sets. At one point in practice, during a set of 100's descend, he got his own time on his wrist watch, wrote down his time on his pad, put down the pencil, watched the clock, and pushed off on time for the next one. I'd hardly call that a cop out. I'd call it extra effort. :) |

He's keeping track of his times and coach's suggestions. There is so much to learn and absorb and keeping a log is a great way to keep it fresh. I also coach and I wish more swimmers would be so attentive and diligent. |

Great idea! But how does he do it without soaking the pages??? Is this some sort of waterproof book?? |

BINGO!!! Great eye, and yes. It's called RAIN paper. I thought the exact same thing when I saw him writing on it. It's very cool. I may order a couple pads for when the season starts. |
